Malden Centre Park is located in south-east Amherstburg, adjacent to Malden Central Public School. This community park is used by the baseball and softball organizations and has recently seen Town investment through a new pavilion and walkways in 2023.
This 5.6 hectare park is primarily used for baseball and contains:
5 baseball diamonds, one which is lit
1 batting cage
pavilion
public washrooms
picnic area
trail
open passive space
Tennis and Basketball (out of service)

Your input is greatly appreciated and will help shape the future of this park to determine site features and amenities that are needed. With the feedback collected, a Master Plan for the park is being developed to guide the park’s future development and growth.
You can contribute to this project by engaging in one or both of the following:
1) Attend the Community Open House on Monday February 5, from 5 pm - 7 pm in the Libro Community Centre foyer, 3295 Meloche Rd, Amherstburg. Provide feedback on the proposed park layout. Concept drawings will be unveiled at this Open House. Thank you to those who attended.
2)Malden Centre Park Survey for the 2nd public engagement is open now until February 23. Provide feedback on the Open House and Concept drawing.

Malden Centre Park, located in Malden Centre at 5460 County Road 20 is an athletic park of 5.6ha. The current amenities include:
5 ball diamonds, one which is lit
4 tennis courts
1 basketball court
1 batting cage
picnic area
pavilion
public washrooms
trail
open passive space
The Town of Amherstburg is investigating options to redevelop the park and wants to hear from you! Please take the time to complete this survey in its entirety. If you complete a hard copy of the survey, please ensure every question is completed as specified. Incomplete, hard-copy surveys cannot be included in the final tally.
