Transportation Master Plan

The Transportation Master Plan will address existing challenges and develop a plan to navigate today's challenges, adapt to tomorrow's, and inspire the future. It will provide the Town with creative and realistic solutions based on input from the public, private sector, and government agencies. The Transportation Master Plan will establish a transportation system better to serve residents, employers, employees, and visitors while accommodating all modes of transportation, such as public transit, commuter travel, commercial vehicles, and active transportation.

In addition, some unfamiliar terms may be used throughout this project. To assist you, the 'Terms Related to Transportation' document can be referred to in the Documents Section on the project page.

We invite you to participate in our second public engagement, presenting infrastructure solutions recommended in the Transportation Master Plan for the Town of Amherstburg. Your valuable feedback is crucial in developing a comprehensive Transportation Master Plan that reflects your community's diverse needs and aspirations. We'd like to ask you to share your perspectives on proposed strategies, priorities, and potential improvements for the transportation network.
