The Town of Amherstburg is looking for youth in our community who are willing to share their ideas and time to assist with the relocation and vision of an all-inclusive multi-use Skate Park.

It is important this project is shaped by those who have a knowledge and passion for skating and intend to be users of the multi-use Skate Park.

The Town has secured a contract with the Canadian Ramp Company and Velosolutions (the company that did the Pump Track in Windsor) to help with this project. (see Council Resolution in Documents Section) Click the links below to learn more about the fantastic projects these professional skate park companies have completed.

Skatepark Design, Phase 1 – end of Summer 2022–The consultants worked with the Town and skate park users within the community through a public engagement process. The public consultant on the final concept plans took place, and the images presented can be viewed in the Documents section of this project.

Installation of the ramp infrastructure – Phase one is complete!

Although not the timelines we initially hoped for, we are moving the project forward and look forward to continuing to engage our skaters in the community to help be a part of this exciting project. Thank you, everyone, for your patience. We look forward to moving this project forward together.

Below are two informative videos if you are unfamiliar with a skate park, pump track or other related elements.
